Gear
Practical recommendations focused on safety and finishing your race.
For a full marathon, choose familiar shoes that you have already used on a run of at least 30 km.
For a long race, a light, breathable singlet with minimal chafing is the comfortable choice.
Choose lightweight running shorts in a familiar size to reduce rubbing and chafing.
A lightweight cap that blocks sun and sweat can help you stay comfortable late in the race.
