I Missed Six, but Still Made
the Morning Jog
I meant to leave at six, but one brief lie-down turned it into seven. I still went out for 5 km. The move to morning running has begun, while a possible second jog will depend on how my left thigh feels.

I ran 8 km at 11 a.m. on Thursday, then 5 km at 7 a.m. today, Friday. The original plan was to leave at six. I did wake up, but a brief lie-down somehow removed an entire hour. I still headed out for my first 7 a.m. jog in a long time. Plenty of runners were already on the path. Somehow, everyone running at that hour looked like a quiet master of the road.
I kept my heart rate in the 130s again. Perhaps my body has not yet adapted to early running, because the 5 km felt a little difficult and my left thigh carried some fatigue. I am gradually moving from night runs to morning jogs. Learning to run early matters, but learning to listen to the body matters more.
Distance left to run · km

I had planned to try my first two-run day, one jog in the morning and another in the afternoon. But staying healthy comes before reaching 200 km. I will watch how the fatigue in my left thigh changes, then decide whether to run again and how far. Finishing the first jog does not automatically approve a second check-in. My left thigh has editorial control this afternoon. The goal is an injury-free 200 km.
