The plan was 30 km, but I stopped at 25 when my knee did not feel right. Hunger and light-headedness sent me back to CP1 for a meal and 20 minutes of rest, then I went out again for the final 10 km.

Today's target was a 30 km long-distance run. I covered 15.01 km first, but I was extremely hungry and beginning to feel light-headed, so I returned to CP1. My knee did not feel quite right either. I wanted the full 30, but having legs that can return for the next session matters more with a marathon ahead. I chose to stop conservatively around 25 km.
At CP1 I ate, showered, and rested for 20 minutes. Then I went back out and added another 10.03 km, bringing the day's total to 25.04 km. It was not one uninterrupted run, but the purpose was to make every part of the legs more familiar with long distance and long hours. The next long run will move the number up another step.

I kept returning to the same course because a GS25 toward Taepyeong Station makes refuelling easy. That is CP2. Today's kit was the Saucony Endorphin Pro 5, a lululemon Pace Breaker top, H&M shorts, a COROS PACE 3, and my largest cap. Before the marathon, I want to experience 32 km and, if possible, 35 km. The most important number of the next LSD is still waiting.
